Compiled with the support of the school & the Alpha Old Boys Association, this collection celebrates the talents of 25 former Alpha Boys School students.
The Alpha Boys School nurtured so many great Artists from Jazz to the Ska and Rock Steady to Reggae innovators. This is a terrific compilation by Trojan, a feast of glorious music from some of the greatest names in Jamaican music.
The Alpha Boys School celebrated its 125th anniversary last year, May was named Alpha Boys School Month.The History of Alpha Boys is so important to the History of Jamaican Music; in fact they go hand in hand.

This C.D. was completed just before the death of Sister Mary Ignatius also known as ‘Iggy’ and recorded at the legendary Studio One studio with the late Coxsone Dodd’s assistance.
So many legendary musicians and singers came from the Alpha Boys school in Kingston, Jamaica, too many to mention here. The school has been continuing the tradition of teaching music to the students.  Purchasing this C.D. will help towards its ongoing work; it also makes a great and unusual gift.
